Vacationing In A Secure Undisclosed Location

I'm going on vacation and getting completely off the grid from 8/29 to 9/7. I'm headed to a cabin in the wilderness. It should be really nice - and it is a much-needed break after the book tour and the Democratic convention.

I'm hoping that my buddy Austin Guest is going to do some guest blogging, but if not, I'll see y'all on this blog when I get back!

Just an announcement to all that I, Maryland_Socialist, am back. I was formerly below_mason_dixon and MarylandSocialist, but I had problems with those accounts. I am renewed. I am a trotskyist-left poltical junkie looking to put posts up convincing people to go further to the left and to abandon the centre-right mudpile that is the democratic party. I am actually a nader voter, but after hearing the nasueating sarah palin (hot as she is, and she is QUITE hot), i am considering voting obama to stick it to the godforsaken gop. what should i do: nader or obamarama?

everyone check out my important comments on "at first glance, palin is a smart choice"

i wanted to add that i am not here to debate rightwingers, as they are already lost. if i engage in such debate, remind me i am not here for that! i want to persuade fellow lefties and center-lefties

i am the former below_mason_dixon that you argued with about black culture and its meaning back many months ago. i am here, in part, to say: hey pal, let's get over our cultural differences and let's smash capitalism and promote a socialist culture together. you said you were part of dsa after all! i know we dont see eye to eye on things and that we have tensions, but hey, we all disagree on some things. wudda ya say? are you in it for the socialist long haul with me, comrade?
