    Telling, Isn't It?

    The New York Times promos Bill Kristol's op-ed today with this teaser:

    Some McCain staffers are tempted by the idea of Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal, for vice president: he is young, with real accomplishments and a strong reformist streak.

    Tellingly, you'll notice that in Kristol's entire column, he cites not a single "real accomplishment" - not a single concrete thing - from Bobby Jindal. I guess his "real accomplishment" is that he's 36 years old?

    Not to mention that Jindal's been governor for not even four months. As for concrete accomplishements, Jindal began his term with a meat-axe freeze on state hiring that's hampered university faculty hiring and other functions. Plus, he can't even control his own party in the Legislature. Legislative term limits kicked in the last election, so the legislature is now generously populated with Republican partisans anxious to bring the "successful" conservative philosophy to Louisiana citizens. Today's Times-Picayune details a movement by GOP zealots to abolish the state income tax, which the wunderkind governor is apparently powerless to stop. If he's their best hope to swing voters to McCain, it shows how desperate they really are.

    You gotta wonder how the bonehead manages to keep that gravy job of his...seriously, how does he do it?

    It can't be his political pontificating At All because, no lie, his "predictions" are absolutely 1,000% stone-cold wrong soooooo damn'd often it's downright freaky. Fer reals, he's dead wrong at least 75% of the time...and I don't mean wrong cuz he's a rightwanker kinda wrong, I mean wrong like the Wrong Answer Again, You Idiot! kinda wrong.

    His fascist...oops, I mean rightist, readers must surely be aware of what a numbskull he is...yet, there he still is, still raking in the gravy & still W-R-O-N-G!
