No one is pro-poison, and no one wants toxic toys. This is simply a flawed bill, and a worthy cause deserves a worthy solution.

Gee, what a coincidence. A US Chamber of Commerce hack swooping in to defend its little buddy NAM. With corporatist lobbyists like these pushing for further POISONING America, America won't need Al Quaida to keep us far less safe !
Again. No one is pushing a POISONING agenda. We support increasing the resources the CPSC has to do its job. We just think this bill is flawed.
If you disagree with our reasons, break it down.
spankinrankin,
It's pathetic that despite the price of toys having gone up, they're more unsafe than ever before. NAM and CoC would love to lie to you that requiring product safety and protection is somehow bad for the "economy" when in fact poisoning the public with toxic toys actually contributes to rising healthcare costs and less business in the long run. By the way, where's the Department of "Homeland Security" when you need them? Oh wait, I forgot, they're pimping for CoC and NAM. And what about the fact that job loss has actually increased as a result of cutting out safety and protection? And why does NAM and CoC keep pushing for more ILLEGAL LABOR? And why has the Department of Labor kept fudging the unemployment numbers for at least a decade? It's pathetic that NAM and CoC argue against "big government" and yet stealthily rely on government "bailouts". Putting profits first before product safety is nothing but RIGGED "capitalism".
So much hate, so few facts. Again. We are not saying that product safety is bad for the economy, we are saying that this bill is bad for product safety. There is a difference. Also we are not pushing for illegal labor, we are pushing for a national solution to our immigration problem which provides legal paths for workers to enter our economy.
So much hate for what? A terrorist organization that guts safety all for the want of more money? Put a sock in it. You have nothing to back up your lies and you're the reason this country is all FUCKED UP. With your support of importing toxic toys all the while shedding more manufacturing jobs, your lovely NAM might as well face the DEATH PENALTY. ABOLISH NAM and Chamber of Commerce !
