Man, I wish Al Gore was running. This could have been a huge election for Democrats, if he were the candidate. A 1932 like election. Too bad we end up with what we have.

Sharing much/most of your enthusiasm for Al, he's better off at what he's doing.
Once back on the stump, he wouldn't be himself and would come off as wooden or condescending.
