This Week In the War on the Middle Class

Worker persecution is on the rise in America, as is the acceptance of such persecution in the highest reaches of our political culture. A few examples from last week shows what I'm talking about:

    - American Rights At Work documents how FedEx is manipulating worker classifications to rip workers off and violate their civil rights.

    - General Growth Properties sicks pepper-spraying thugs on janitors who were peacefully protesting for their rights at the Hayward, California shopping mall where they work.

    - The Denver Post unleashes a vicious front-page editorial attacking Gov. Bill Ritter for giving public employees the right to vote to form employee partnership organizations in order to collectively bargain.

I'm going to have more to say on all this stuff soon, but on this Monday morning, we are reminded that unfortunately, the war on the middle class continues.

Why should the political class care? because we the people certainly don't hold them accountable for all their transgressions against us.

Where's the rage and demands that Reid, Pelosi and Hoyer step down? oh right there isn't any. Most Democrats are content with these asshats doing their best to ruin this country.

Look the people have green lighted this atrocious behavior by voting for and tolerating crooks and insufferably stupid people as their reps.

And I'm not talking Republicans here, but Democrats. For the last 30 years rank and file Democrats have repeatedly voted against their self-interest by sending to Washington countless crooks and fools who in turn screwed the working class and middle-class something horrible. Since the Carter administration the Democrats haven't done shit to protect American workers. Instead they left them at the tender mercies of the Reaganites and others.

I don't know what it will take for people to realize you can't keep sending idiots and criminals to D.C. and expecting they'll look out for them.
