Ritter Steps Up for Worker Rights
In an exclusive interview on Jay Marvin's radio show this morning, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter (D) defended his decision to stand up for workers and grant public employees the right to vote to form collective bargaining organizations, if they so choose. In Colorado, where worker persecution is apparently still happily embraced by conservatives, Ritter has been under withering attack for extending this most basic right to workers. Listen to the interview here.

He's no different than the GOPers.
At the same time he's sucking up to state workers for votes, he's a signatory to a letter to the Fed Gov't demanding that we open the flood gates to more H1-B guest workers.
So much for caring about America and its people.
Just another forked tongue politico.
I do find it ironic that on one hand Ritter stands up for workers while at the same time allowing the H1B visas to flood the state thereby rendering any progress of workers null and void. As to being no different from the GOP, I too fear these people get the same idea of put in one pocket and pull out the other. Ritter reminds me of SenseLESSbrenner railing against "illegal immigrants" while at the same time rubberstamping just about every "free" trade deal unlike Tancredo who was at least consistent in his opposition to "free" trade and illegals crossing via the lawless ways.
In CA, Arnold did the same thing and no one complained. In any state, a governor will be sure to see to it that public employees come first. I don't see what's wrong here other than the H1B visa issue which I would love to see ABOLISHED.
