Your "Liberal" Washington Think Tanks
Matt Yglesias at the Atlantic Monthly has a nice writeup on how some of the most esteemed "liberal" think tanks in Washington are once again going out of their way to narrow the debate over the Iraq War so that it doesn't include, you know, the opinion of the majority of Americans who want us out of there. Check it out.

Hmmm the Brookings Institute lineup reeks of pasty faced, tiny brained, soft bodied men whom Jonah Goldberg would be right at home with.
Look none of these man-boys are qualified in any way on Iraq. They are frauds and posers. The Dems would be better off listening to a half-dozen SF officers who have done several tours in Iraq and to bring in Pelton and Ware as well.
You know folks who know the region and people. Not perfumed beltway princes Pollack and Hanlon.
Well, that explains why us voters outside the Beltway will still believe that "liberals" are in power, political newcomer or seasoned. If there are any real liberals or real conservatives in Washington left, don't worry, they'll get shitted on and kicked out by the traitors in the parties.
P.S.: If you want a real liberal think tank, why not try ROCKRIDGE INSTITUTE instead. Yeah, they're out in Berkeley but at least that goes to show that the farther away from DC a think tank is, the less out of touch it is, assuming that CA does not have faux "liberal" think tanks just like those in Washington.
Rockridge is really good I wrote them recently to have a forum considering all the benefits of Nationalizing the America Oil Industry and all energy in America..
Pollack and O'Hanlan are the guys you used to hit with wet towels in gym class..
See what I mean..?
Karl Rove too..!
