I hope at least one of them steps up but I doubt it.

That said the rank and file now realize they've been conned by their party and are out for blood, this is a good thing. The problem is blogs like Dkos aren't doing squat to organize this anger and make it useful, Markos is just playing games and side stepping the whole mess.

We need a Huey Long to rattle cages in D.C. not a pack of useless bloodless nit nats likes Markos and Arianna who don't give a rats ass.

BTW Huffpost is still putting out vanity posts by the bucketful by celeb bloggers. At least we now know where Arianna's true loyalties lay, its not with the people given her censoring of those posting in McDermott's blog and her ignoring the Iraq war sell-out.

So much for being brave, eh Arianna?

We voters must be sure that the folks we send to Washington are honest and courageous enough to buck the deeply corrupt system that exists today. Jim Hansen, a Democrat from Idaho, ran for Congress last year and, if elected, would have been one of those "Mr. Smith" types we are all so hungry for in this nation.

A clean campaigner, Jim wouldn't take more than $100 in campaign contributions from individuals and refused any and all PAC money. That gave him the freedom to say exactly what he thinks, and people responded by the thousands.

Activists from all over the state are urging Jim to run again to build on the deep base of good will and conviction he created. We need more good candidates like Jim Hansen with the compassion and guts to make Washington truly responsive to us regular citizens again.
