I regret that Tom Tomorrow lives in a such an utter fantasy world that magic ponies join him at the table for breakfast every morning to discuss American politics. Still, pretty funny man. ..."scary black pastor" ha ha.

Your egregious failure to argue in good faith makes the magic ponies cry.

i regret that all neocons can not experience having their homes destroyed, neighborhoods reduced to rubble, friends and families killed, bodies disfigued by explosives, cities (what remains of them) filled with raw sewage, genitalia electrocuted... i could go on but hey, war's just a video game, i really should lighten up.

To Beeyatch, some are experiencing the mortgage crisis and stock market fall. Some are getting their due.

Sorry Monkay, there's no arguing with magic ponies. They pretty much have their minds made up. :-)

Beeyatch (I love that moniker, by the way), why is it whenever particular ideologies are rubbed the wrong way, they generate a convenient buzzword to marginalize the irritating idea set? Ie, what the hell is a "neocon"?

If it is a person who values their country and the ideas incorporated into their Constitution enough to die for those values, then they would be willing to go through those atrocities you listed. If not, then I suppose they'd rather sit back, sip their Caramel Machiato's and complain about Barrack's new hair cut. And then when it did come to that (war on our soil, God forbid), they'd blame everyone but themselves and fall in line with whoever is attacking the evil empire of America.

What is a neocon? I'm not exactly sure, m'man.

SOME word had to be invented, you see. The people who claim to be Republicans these days... just aren't. Who's the last "Republican" you would say is actually a fiscal conservative?

Since this administration has represented nothing but the most irresponsible spending, what would YOU label them?

I miss the actual Republican Party. They've been gone since the 1960's.

I'm a confirmed progressive who votes Democratic and I never thought I'd be saying this: I miss Tricky Dick -- started an opening to China, froze wages and prices in response to a recession, I mean, those sort of things that the Democrats are proposing! Yikes!

    Why do you hate me?

    Magic Pony (great post):
It's not that we hate you. Actually we love you. But because you don't exist, when we pretend you do, it makes us delusional. Hope you understand.

    Mister Pibb:
Good point! I'd rather something like Neospenders then. At least then "real" conservatives might not feel so clumped in. :-) (What can ya do when you have a war and natural disasters though?)

Thank you for the love but what do you mean I don't exist? I've used my enchanted tail to sprinkle my pony dust on:
    The Supreme Court
All of our allies around the world (The French and Germans LOVE Ponies)
    Guantánamo Bay
    The Dollar
    ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP
Halliburton (with and extra sprinkle for KBR)
    The Constitution
Gee, lot's of things. I could go on you know but I don't like to boast.

    Love,
    Magic Pony

    Weird.

    Very weird.

Beyond the abilities of a penguin with a visor and/or boston terrier to fathom.

The funniest smartest brightest most perceptive cartoonist on the planet can only draw a comment of audience of 12?

CREDO where have you gone wrong?

Tom Tomorrow, why are you not syndicated to all the news media of this little planet. I do not know. Perhaps there is a lack of magic ponies. Perhaps Tom Tomorrow and Ted Rall can join forces and liberate this widdle rock from all the malevolent miscreants of the right.

CREDO you need to do/be more.

    Regards,

    maxter!!!!
