More on the Lies

The Center for Public Integrity, which put together the very excellent accounting of all the lies about Iraq told by top Bush officials, also has a very excellent title for their scorecard: The War Card.

And, knowing that not everyone has time to read 935 lies (especially when 1 is hard enough to stomach), they also created a visual aid:

Gosh, did they lie a lot in February '03.

Of course, it was August '02 that really produced one of the classics: "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction." The speaker? Dick Cheney, of course.

Kudos to excellent work with an excellent name and a most excellent graphic. It's a shame that it needs to exist.
