House Passes Short Term PAA Extension

The House just passed a fifteen day extension to the Protect America Act. After today, they will be in recess for the remainder of the week. It will now be up to the Senate to pass this extension as well, or the law will sunset at the end of the week. Senate Republicans have thus far resisted any extension to the PAA.
