    Bush Hates Children

Since President Bush can’t take on the insurgents in Iraq or the insurgents in his own party he’s decided to take on someone his own size: children.

President Bush is trying to stop Congress from passing legislation to re-authorize and expand the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. This program has served over 7 million people in the past year and now Congress, with the support of doctors, consumer groups and even Arnold Schwarzenegger, wants to increase its enrollment.

Even with this immense show of support, the Bush administration is still trying to slow the program down:

The Department of Health and Human Services has tried to redefine the magnitude of the problem by issuing a new study that says one million uninsured children are already eligible for Medicaid or the children’s insurance program. Previous estimates by private researchers and government experts put the number at more than 5 million.

Regional directors of the department have sent identical letters to newspapers, warning against “a government takeover of the health care marketplace.”

This type of policy from the Bush administration is exactly why we need the great work of organizations like Families USA. Learn more about this organization, which promotes high-quality and affordable health care for all Americans, unlike our President, who just promotes bad things. Working Assets is proud to include Families USA as one of our 2007 Donations Recipients.

This program has been working well in many states but Bush is a predatory ghoul and ultimate hypocrite..!

I was watching the debates over this on Friday on the floor or the Congress..

Why don't some of the Democratic Senators get out there and on C-span to try and educate the populace as to just what a mean spirited pernicious Administration we are dealing with..?

Maybe John Edwards will get on this as well and hammer the Administration for their despicable low handed preying on America's children to help support their plundering the U.S. Treasury for their corporate co-conspirators..

The story coming out now on how terribly the Katina workers is just another water mark as to what kind of dirt bags we have running our nation..

I think it's gonna get worse to this may be the longest 18 months any of us have ever experienced till we get rid of these guys, if we do and they don't declare an "emergency" under NSPD-51 and suspend the elections..for the sake of "Continuity"..

Yet another reason to push for impeachment, and get rid of both Bush and Cheney, before they can do any more damage.
18 months is a long time, with that bunch.
